Most people think "hand-tied" is a method. It isn't — it's the type of hair. Hand-tied wefts are individually hand-strung and sewn, which makes them thinner, lighter, and more comfortable long-term. They move naturally. They wear well.
Most stylists default to machine-tied wefts because they're cheaper to source. They're also heavier and harder on your natural hair over time. The Ember Room uses 100% cuticle-intact Remy human hair from a salon-professional brand I've trusted for over ten years — because the goal isn't just the install. It's keeping your hair healthy underneath.

Will extensions damage my natural hair?
Hand-tied wefts are one of the gentlest methods when installed and maintained correctly. Your natural hair is something we're always paying attention to at every appointment.
How long does the hair last?
With proper care, the hair lasts 6 months to a year. The install is moved forward every 8 weeks as your natural hair grows.
Can I color my extensions?
The hair we use is not meant to be colored after purchase — doing so voids the manufacturer's warranty. We color-match at consultation using an extensive color library, so this rarely comes up.
What if I'm not at my goal color yet?
Get there first, then book your consult. Extensions are matched to your current color — if a big change is planned, we want to match the finished result.
What do I need to do before my appointment?
Clean hair, light conditioner, no heavy oils. That's it.
