Who am I?
Samie Gonzalez
I’m Samie G — salon owner, educator, wife, mom, and your go-to for all things dimensional color and hand-tied extensions.
Originally from New Orleans, I’ve been doing hair for over 15 years, including eight years owning and operating a successful commission-based salon in Louisiana. I’m IBE® Certified and spent several years educating and teaching with a professional color brand, which shaped the way I approach color, technique, and long-term hair health.
Now in Downtown Clermont, my work spans Florida and Louisiana, and that experience comes with me into every appointment
I created The Ember Room for women like me — women who are leading, building, raising families, and chasing big dreams, all while craving a little space to reset. This is a one-on-one experience where your hair goals meet real-life understanding, expertise, and care. No rushing. No pressure. Just thoughtful work designed to fit your life.
My faith is a core part of who I am, and so is growth — as a stylist, a business owner, and a person. When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll usually find me wandering a farmers market, checking out a new coffee shop, reading something on leadership, or walking Main Street just to clear my head.
I believe in creating beautiful hair — but I also believe in creating moments where women feel seen, cared for, and completely themselves.
Welcome to The Ember Room. I’m so glad you’re here.

why “The Ember Room”
The Ember Room was born in a season of transition.
After years of building a business, leading a team, and showing up fully for my clients, my family, and my community, I found myself in a place I didn’t expect—burned out. Not because I stopped loving what I do, but because I had spent so much time pouring into everything and everyone else.
In that season, I began to reflect on how often women live this way.
We’re taught to be strong, capable, dependable—to hold things together, keep things moving, and make sure everyone around us is taken care of. And while there’s beauty in that, it often leaves very little space to pause and tend to ourselves.
An ember isn’t a roaring fire.
It’s what remains when the noise quiets—the steady warmth that’s still there.
The Ember Room grew from that realization.
It was created as a more thoughtful way of working, and as a space designed to slow things down. A place where care feels intentional, results are lasting, and women can walk away feeling grounded and supported—without needing to rush or perform.
